Maple Syrup Leaf

These cute 50 mL maple leaves make excellent gifts. Eric says they are a single serving for pancakes - if you like your pancakes to be swimming in syrup. 

If you are shipping these, order at least two. The shipping rate is the same.

When we moved back to the east coast making maple syrup was one of the things we most looked forward to doing. We only have two sugar maple trees on our property, but are fortunate to have wonderful neighbors who let us tap their trees.

Each tap goes to one bucket, and we collet buckets by hand - sometimes twice a day when the sap is really running. It's heavy work, but a welcome sign that spring is coming. The whole family helps, and Evelyn loves going to collect the 'buck-ees' each day - probably because we often saw the neighbors chickens!  

Shipping: We ship maple syrup via USPS. Shipping costs are weight based. For west coast orders we use USPS flat rate boxes. If you are local, or might see us (or my parents) in the near future, you can check off 'pick up' as the delivery method.
